This is exactly what is so good and bad about it. if users in your country /area participate in this initiative you will get the most updated maps and road conditions and if not you won’t even have a maps to use.

The application provides turn by turn navigation based on the #E72 GPS. It also provides POI (Point of interest) based on online databases (I think it’s differ from each country).

There is a need for constant internet connection for getting map updates and online status of the traffic. Navigation is based on a real time conditions, so if one of the roads has a heavy traffic the app will suggest alternative route.Each user’s Waze application updates automatically the average speed of the car.

Additionally the application provides live updates from users who reported manually on the road conditions.  If you noticed speed trap or some other issues with the road, you can update all other users. Just click on update and select the type of the update, that’s it all other people will get the update until another user will remove the update when it’s not relevant anymore.

When I’m driving I always use Waze even when I don’t need GPS, it’s always good to get updates on road conditions and speed traps….

Gravity supports multiple twitter accounts and all twitter functions for each account: Tweeting, Time line, Replies, Friends, Direct Messages (DM).

For each twitt by clicking on the select navigation button it’s possible to Re-twitt (RT), Send direct message (DM), follow URL if there is any or to add the twitter user to you following list.

Just start to type the message inside the account in order to tweet (Post tweet message).

Gravity supports alerts for each account activity. I.E. It possible to define voice alert for reply messages in one of the twitter accounts

Gravity allows to define multiple search terms that automatically update for twitter channel(#)  or search term.

It also recommend to use the “auto connect WIFI network”  feature (can be found in the Settings page) which automatically connects to WIFI network when available instead of 3G network.
